Ouch, kinda sad. Seems like a cool guy. The other day during a scrim he had like 1fpm and people started making fun of it and telling him to spectate. I'm thinking that made him do it.

well, he told me that he was using metal tech texture pack, that's why he dropped, idfk, he doesn't see to be kind of guy who would cheat :/

Sorry winter, but a texture pack will not drop you. There's nothing inside of a texture pack that would cause a drop. There is/was something else in your baseq3 that dropped you. The MetalTech texture pack, can not and will not drop you. Best thing to do is just come clean.

I'm assuming the Metal Tech texture pack was a pk3 file, if so, it may have had something coded into it by the creator to help him and his buddies cheat on a good looking game.

Doesn't really change the situation imo. Never download random shit unless its from someone you trust, and even then, you're taking chances.

The thing is, the pack he's talking about is a very well known texture pack that has been used by many people. No one has dropped from it and there's no hack coded into it unless he modified it himself. I actually uploaded that pack to LoQ server a while back for some people but ended up removing it due to it being wayy too large and taking up too much space. It gives Quake 3 a big HD improvement, and is possibly the best texture pack out there. But it will not drop you.

The only texture pack I know of is xcsv_hires, and that's the one everyone has been obsessed with since 2010.

ok! doesnt matter if you trust me or not, i know i am clean and i wasnt saying that the metal tech was it, i suposse that was the shit made me drop cause i drop after added to my baseq3 and yeah that was a pk3 file. doesnt matter if you guys trust me, but please let me play some games w/you. by the way let me inform u that there is a noob stealing some of my tags his lag is around 250 --- 350 mines always around 150 --- 230.

Razer is unpure, therefore cheats work on it. Also, you can't drop for cheats in spectator. Try joining a team in a pure server, like FC. Razz

I know you are, but trying to prove you won't drop in a server by being in an unpure one won't help your case, neither will being in spectators, even if you were on a pure server.

Dman, he never blamed another person, he admitted to dropping.

Like Sora said, a drop is a drop, punishment remains the same no matter what reason you dropped.

well to answer u that question, is only for the symply reason that the ppl who knows me dont speak with him, his lag always is around 250/350 and mine is around 150/240. and he is stolen some other player tags too. like numbnuts and M1, i said this cause i had see him rename and for the lag i could say he is usin a lot of ppl's tags. his real tag is KNIGHT so if u see him. fucked him. xD!
